Phil Fischer was born April 23, 1970 in the small dusty town of Wichita Falls, Texas. Phil spent the first 20 years of his life moving in and out of small native villages and small wilderness towns, learning to survive the best way that he knew how growing up alone in the wilds of Canada’s rugged Yukon Territories and Northwest Alaska.

At seven, Phil received an acoustic guitar as a gift. Since then has composed over 400 songs. His song catalogue includes nine top ten hits most of which were sold to record labels during the early 90’s.

Phil eventually moved to Seattle and threw himself into his music selling many of his songs to top bands of the 90’s and recording his first album “Wounded soul” which was never released in the United States but still managed to sell almost 1.3 million copies world-wide in Asia, India, and South America. This makes Phil the first and only artist to go Gold and Platinum without radio play or label support. Within 6 months of its release in the foreign market two of the CD’s singles “Cobblestone Streets” and “Windey Road” pulled almost 200,000 downloads; a feat pop start Britney Spears couldn’t even compete with.

Phil is currently the Director of Worship and teaches at Amazing Grace Ministries which is a small ministry that reaches out to the homeless in downtown Seattle. Phil also leads worship at New Hope International Church on Mercer Island which is an international church dedicated to building discipleship and leadership.

Over the last few years Phil focused his music ministry overseas where his fan base is large and they desperately need the word. Phil’s ministry focus is performing concerts, and spreading the word of God in a rock style format to places of the globe where no one else dares to go.

Phil’s CD “New Believer” is about the trials and tribulations of being a son of light in the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Phil completed “New Believer” in the summer of 2007 which was released in various foreign markets.

Phil is now ready to bring his dynamic ministry home with the American release of New Believer.
